trAndeS announces the launch of its new Working Paper Series:
The trAndes Working Paper Series serves to disseminate initial results of empirical research projects, and conceptual or theoretical discussions in order to deepen the exchange of ideas concerning the relationship between sustainable development and social inequalities in the Andean region. It focuses on how social inequalities can prevent sustainable development and on measures and instruments that can contribute to the reduction of inequalities, and therefore to the realization of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda in the region.
The series opens with the following Working Paper:
Bettina Schorr (2018): “How Social Inequalities Affect Sustainable Development: Five Causal Mechanisms Underlying the Nexus”, trAndeS Working Paper Series 1, Berlin: Lateinamerika-Institut, Freie Universität Berlin.
