News from Aug 11, 2019
The first document in this series, titled “Cambio Climático, Desigualdades Sociales y el ‘Nexo Agua-Energía-Alimentación’. Perspectivas desde la Región Andina” by Bettina Schorr and Marco Just Quiles, has been prepared in cooperation with EKLA – Regional Programme Energy Security and Climate Change in Latin America of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS)
The trAndeS Policy Briefing Series aims to identify the obstacles for sustainable development in the Andean region from a critical point of view, with an emphasis on the issues related to social inequality (SDG 10). The documents seek to visualize tensions and problems that public policy should take into account in order to generate sustainable development. In addition, the documents offer recommendations for policies that can contribute to overcoming the obstacles identified.
The Policy Briefings are addressed to policy makers in both the public and the private sector.
