Between 1993 and 2014, a boom in resources such as minerals, oil or gas was developed in the Andean region, characterized by high prices in the market and global growth in demand. The panel discussion will analyze what have been the social, economic and political impacts of the expansion of extractive industries. In addition, the characteristics of the current post-boom phase will be discussed.
