Between October 29 and November 2, 2018, the Spring School trAndeS 2018 will take place at the Campus of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, Lima-Peru.
During the week we will have more than seventy researchers from 14 countries and 32 institutions. There will be representatives from universities in Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Spain and Venezuela. In addition, experts from national and international organizations such as CEPAL, Instituto de Estudios Peruanos, Instituto de Montaña, OXFAM, Sociedad Peruana de Derecho Ambiental, UNESCO, USAID and the Peruvian Ministry of the Environment will participate.
We will begin the Spring School with the Magistral Round Table "La Longue Duree de las Desigualdades Sociales en América Latina".
There, we have presentations of Javier Iguiñiz (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú), Karoline Noack (Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn), Fernando Estenssoro (Universidad de Santiago de Chile) and Alexander Herrera (Universidad de los Andes, Colombia).
